A yacht journey along the Italian coastline reveals iconic destinations like Capri, Sorrento, and Positano, blending breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and luxurious experiences.
Capri
Cruise to Capri and anchor in this popular harbor to explore the island famed for its rugged landscape, upscale hotels, designer fashions, sweet limoncello, and handmade leather sandals. This has to be one of the most iconic anchorages around, and one never tires of the dramatic landscape. Spend the day touring the island. There are some really famous restaurants to try here! One of its best-known natural sites is the Blue Grotto, a dark cavern where the sea glows electric blue, the result of sunlight passing through an underwater cave.
Sorento
Mid-morning up anchor and cruise to Sorrento where we will anchor near the cliffs with the town perched on top. Just across the Bay of Naples lies perhaps the most beautiful stretch of coastline anywhere in the world. With its beautiful location on the north coast of the peninsula, the small community of Sorrento is perfectly situated looking out over the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, and the Isle of Capri. It is hard to imagine a more perfect setting than this. Famous for its lemons and limoncello, Sorrento has much to offer its visitors and makes for a wonderful first stop on a yacht charter exploring the region. A walking tour of this chic town is recommended to enjoy it to the fullest.
Positano
Positano is one of Italy’s most romantic and luxurious vacation spots. Built vertically on the face of a cliff, it started out as a fishing village and became popular with writers and artists in the 1950s. Today it is a fashionable resort yet still retains the charm of a pedestrian town with many stairs and its pretty pastel-colored houses and flowers that make it very picturesque. Enjoy a guided walking tour along the well-known “Path of the Gods” or stroll the cobbled lanes for some shopping and a visit to one of the many quaint cafes.
